The Wind off of the Breaking Ice Covered Lake

In the 70s? In March? In the U.P. and upper Wisco?
Temps like this called a trip to Bayfield. Short sleeves and a playground run were a great way to spend the day with my little family. We walked the pier to get a good look at the Big Lake. Side note (and waht my title illudes to): you need a jacket on the pier. When the wind hits you off of the lake you are "slap in the face" reminded that it is March and ice is still on the water.

Vintage Here, Vintage There, Vintage Almost Everywhere

Here's pics of my newest items on etsy. Vintage fabric, vintage book illustration, vintage paper. I'm making use of all these extra materials I have lying around.

These items can be customized with an initial and come with a free greeting card. Awesome right?! Check out my etsy store for more info. and pricing.

I have a couple more I'll post pics of later. Now that I've distracted myself with the fun of these, back to the lighthouse paintings.
