Shorts for Swimming, Swim Trunks for the Drive Home

I feel that when I go to the Big Lake, I am going to the store to shop for driftwood. I arrive with reusable tote in hand and am selective with the produce. Only the best are bought, and unnecessary calorie-filled foods are left behind to get burned on the beach in a bonfire. Here's to spending a great day "going shopping".

King School

Back in the day, I would have been in this place peeking, photographing, and living somewhat dangerously by wlaking on boards that might not meet code, but with husband as my voice of reason and a wasp at the door to threaten, I only took photos from the outside. Check out the blackboard where visitors write their names and dates. The chairs are covered in bird droppings and I'm pretty sure someone left their homework behind.

Two Rocks and A Line

This is an additional post from Mike's and my trip to Duluth the other weekend. I clicked away at here and there, he kept walking and then I'd have to play catch-up, but come on are some of these pics worth having to run after your husband yelling, "Wait-up!"? I found 4 pieces of lake glass without even trying; my eyes saw their glimmer in the sun as I walked along the board walk (I am now that good, and a true lake glass picker-upper professional). I think I'll be like fly-fishermen, never to reveal my best beach glass fishing holes, and to offer up a different somewhat believable location if anyone asks.
